Why does using the Institutions of a representative republic to implement positive change for the majority have you talking about cutting off other folks’ water and food?

You sound scared.

Not in the least. It’s going to happen eventually. Why do you think when California was talking about leaving everyone was just like “Bye Felicia!”, but when Texas does it everyone is like “oh no, you can’t do that!”

so the majority will just go and take it…

easy peasy

It’s very close to true.

since texas is abou to turn blue it wont be an issue

Yeah, that’s called “the golden hoard” and the rest of us have solutions for it.

You think Texas will continue to support you Austinites?

Like I said. It’s cute.

It seems that those who fantasize the most about economic war with their political enemy don’t even do the most basic research or reconnaissance to prepare.

This is fun to watch. Minority doesn’t get to rule and they want to take their ball and go…whatever it is you call this.

Hear! Hear! Amen!

They’ve been living off of blue state largesse so long they’ve forgotten they’re welfare queens.

You have no idea what “prepared” is.

What “largesse”? You provide nothing for yourselves. All we need to do is charge you for the life support you already get, or of course the coastal zombies could start to provide for themselves.

Do tell.

What are you prepared for in the event folks use their constitutional powers to effect change?

In detail.

That’s why I believe it’s impossible for the united states to break up in any peaceful manner.

There are prominent regional cultures that developed as appendages to economic hubs, but display a willingness to crash their own economy at every preceived slight or offense. You can’t have a stable border with people like that.

Yeah. They start yammering about their guns every time they face the prospect of a loss at the polls. Hard to believe you could have stable borders with them if they don’t even respect their own form of government. How could you reasonably expect them to respect the government next door?

Why would you care what the government next door thinks of your coastal zones?

After all your “largesse” you should be just fine without any trade.

Too late .

I’m not the one talking about breaking up the union over some changes after an election.

I know how you guys like the whole civil war fantasy, but I get the impression you haven’t thought it through.

Red states need trade, too.
