A new poll published by Pew Research Wednesday shows a clear majority of Americans have had enough of “fake news” and now view the problem as a bigger threat to the nation than “terrorism” or “illegal immigration.”

“Americans view made-up news and information as a bigger problem than other critical issues, including terrorism, immigration, climate change and racism, according to a new survey from Pew Research Center,” reports Axios.

“The survey finds that Americans feel more worried today about fake news because it’s undermining their trust in key institutions, like government and the media,” adds the survey. “The only issues that rank higher than made-up news and information as ‘very big problems in the country today’ are drug addiction, the affordability of health care, the U.S. political system, and the income gap.”

According the poll, more than 68% of those asked say “made-up news and information” has a massive impact in their “trust in government.”

The issue polled higher than violent crime (50%), climate change (46%), Racism (40%), Illegal Immigration (38%), and Terrorism (34%).

Ratings for CNN, MSNBC, and other outlets have plummeted since the release of Robert Mueller’s “no collusion” report following two-years of non-stop coverage.

CNN’s prime time coverage is down 16% in recent weeks, with MSNBC’s ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’ hitting its lowest levels since President Trump’s inauguration.

“The Fake News Media has lost tremendous credibility with its corrupt coverage of the illegal Democrat Witch Hunt of your all time favorite duly elected President, me! T.V. ratings of CNN & MSNBC tanked last night after seeing the Mueller Report statement. @FoxNews up BIG!” tweeted Trump.

The President’s comments come as mainstream media outlets and leading Democrats struggle to explain two-years of non-stop, breathless coverage of the Commander-in-Chief’s non-existent relationship with Russian officials.
