Yes unfortunately some victims have a tendacy to become victims in other situations as well. However an (adult) victim moving to a new relationship and becoming the aggressor is quite a bit more rare.

Ellison’s ex-wife wants the records sealed. Almost all people would want that. Why is that an issue?

I would really like to see this horrific video.

I think everyone here can agree that having someone grab your ankle and knock a flip flop off of your foot is far more traumatic than having someone pinning you down, trying to pull your clothes off against your will and then covering your mouth hindering your ability to breath or make a sound.

And I think we all understand completely why she would not share that video with the investigators that looked into her claims.

This is a travesty…

Well, the divorce records were a flop (and him trying to keep him sealed to defend his ex-wife), so now it back to the video. If the video shows what she claims, it’s over for him and rightly so.

But I’m starting to think there’s a reason she refuses to show it.

But for some reason I’m betting the President of the US won’t get up there and mock her.

It’s amazing to see Kavanaugh defenders not going after Monahan the same way they went after Ford.

I treated Ford the same way I now treat Monahan-let them tell the story and present evidence, investigate their claims, and in the case of Kavanaugh, have the up/down vote.

Republicans are latching onto Monahan, because she’s claiming abuse from a D, without having presented any further evidence against Ellison than Ford presented against Kavanaugh.

They CLAIM she has medical records-but all it shows is that she SAYS there was abuse.

They say she TOLD people about it, but none of them saw it-they’re simply witnesses to her TELLING them abuse happened.

They cite the video she claims she has of abuse, but she refuses to release it and apparently hasn’t released it to law enforcement authorities.

It’s really dastardly and hypocritical. All in the name of party politics.
