Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered a fiery attack on the United States’ “campus culture” before a gathering of conservative students this week; saying America’s universities are churning out a generation of “sanctimonious snowflakes.”
Sessions blasted the Left’s rigid ideology during his address Tuesday, claiming many colleges are no longer interested in “molding a generation of mature, well-informed adults.”
“Rather than molding a generation of mature, well-informed adults, some schools are doing everything they can to create a generation of sanctimonious, sensitive, supercilious snowflakes,” said the Attorney General.
“Too many schools are coddling students,” Sessions added. “There was a ‘cry-in’ at Cornell after the 2016 election, therapy dogs at the University of Kansas. … I hope they had plenty of tissues.”
“Stand strong for what you believe in,” he told the students.
