No one is freaked out about drag queens. What is being protested is the age inappropriate venue and content being presented to children by drag queens.

Stark reminder of the differences between parties. One side sees kids at a drag show and wonders why it upsets people, the other sees kids at drag shows and asks why drag performers want kids in the audience.

Parents choice, just like a parent can take their child to see a R movie that is full of violence and torture porn.

But I digress, the point is, if the Republican presidential candidate wants to focus on these types of issues it will not win them the WH.

The Republicans have an incrdibly good chance of regaining the Presidency if they campign smartly.

Or, one sees a person in drag and thinks that excuses the content with children because drag queens are harmless and kind of the “in thing”.

Trust me, most sane parents and grandparents are rightly terrified of schools telling their first grader they can choose which gender they prefer to be. It will not be tolerated.

Issues of morality and decency should always propel a candidate to the WH. That you are saying it doesn’t speaks volumes about societal decay if you are correct.

Oh, I completely agree. It is the few nut bags that wear their children like the latest designer clothes that are jumping on this bandwagon.

Then by all means encourage your candidate to focus on those issues but please lets not have a gazillion posts in 2024 about election fraud when the Republicans lose.

Even a majority of Democrats oppose transitioning children.

As I said please then encourage Republicans to focus on that.

It is one of a multitude of issues that a candidate will focus on. DeSantis, for example, has quite a bit of support for what he is doing in Florida with removing smut from schools and banning drag shows for children.

I will thanks, it’s a slam dunk winning issue with all but a minority of crazed democrats. Democrats may as well be running Epstein at this point.

I like how you D⁶ by trying to diminish the culture war to the crit flavor of the month. To silo.

And there is typical lib dishonesty.

Even lib candidates can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Gotta wonder why attention to this issue seems so important to you.

He likely realizes how powerful a vote getting issue it is. Whether he admits it or not.

It’s a big vote-getting issue on the lib side. Support of degenerate behavior spews from lib politicians on a daily basis. Then when someone speaks against it, they are the ones “focused” on it. :man_shrugging:

Yeah but that is at best maybe 20-30% of the population, the rest find it abhorrent.

It’s disappointing that it’s even that high.

It’s the “in” thing though.

Its a worthy discussion point.

Not everyone has a secret agenda or engaging in clandestine behaviour

Alright, but if it was that influential , wouldn’t it have also convinced Kansas to vote for Biden ?
