Why is it up to the U.S./Trump to ‘solve’ a “crisis” in Venezuela? If it is a humanitarian crisis, isn’t that what the UN is for? Is that the organization the U.S. pays into?
World Food Programme (WFP) This organization is part of the U.N. system and is the largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. Each year, the WFP reaches 90 million people with food assistance in 80 countries. In 2012, the WFP provided 53 percent of global food aid and distributed 3.5 million tons of food.
