What do you mean reported? You mean alleged not reported.

You can say that Cortes alleged, or he reported allegations if it makes you feel better.

I assume that there are documents about funding for the Biden Center and Biden’s pay as an honorary professor. Where are the investigative reporters working to confirm or refute the report back before the 2020 election?

According to CNN, the classified documents were found back in November, but we are only hearing about them now. The Biden Center stories may well be another case where we only find out the truth after it makes no difference in upcoming elections.

On the other hand, the fact that the story is coming out at all may be an indication that people who run things in Washington are looking to dump Biden. Washington politics have become a lot like politics in the Soviet Politburo, where every nuance in Pravda is analyzed to understand shifting factions behind the scenes.

Sounds good to me.

I can accept that you state and believe this, but this is not what’s being done by the Democrats in Congress. Have you not heard any of their responses? If you have, does it appear to you like Trump and Biden are being treated the same? Not a one of them even acknowledge anything was really done, let alone that they need to get to the bottom of it.

The context of the word EXPLAINABLE in the post I was responding to could not in any way indicate anything other than excusable, meaning not serious enough to worry about and take any action against.

I put context to what Biden did compared to what Trump did and how I ( or any regular person) would be treated and dealt with if they did far less, and you dismiss it as an anti TDS rant rather than respond to the points I made.

It’s exactly what I expect from Libs in this forum. MOVE ALONG, NOTHING TO SEE HERE…

This isn’t the argument at all.

Trump wasn’t “treated badly” until the process was EIGHTEEN MONTHS ALONG and had been through several other steps, most of which we knew nothing about.

The Biden stuff is just getting started.

You assume is right. Where are these documents?

If you think the Dems are saying “nothing happened here” with Biden, you haven’t been paying attention. Maybe some of them are saying that, but several have called for a complete investigation.

And yes…you completely misunderstood what I said regarding “explainable”. I should have put it in quotes. “Explainable” does not mean “right” and I never intimated that it did.

In fact, my response was to a poster who WAS trying to explain away what has happened here.

I called for a complete investigation after the first batch of documents was discovered.

As for the rest of your rant, I know you want to equivocate, but the responses from the Biden team, so far, have been markedly different than that of the Trump team. If Trump had responded the same way Biden did, and yet he was still being run roughshod over, then you’d have a point. But he didn’t…so you don’t.

But for most of the year plus the Trump thing had been going on before the search warrant, he wasn’t even really being covered by the press over it. No one knew about it. So to say he’s been mistreated from jump is factually wrong.

And again that’s the last point to remember. We are 18-24 months in on the Trump saga. The Biden saga is just getting started (and the press is already giving him a hard time).

Let’s check back in a few months.

Relevant documents should be at the University of Pennsylvania.

Perhaps the House should subpoena them.

Should be

Reporting!! :joy:

Yes where are those investigative reporters? If you want to assume the “mainstream media” is “the government media”, then why didn’t Cortes find some sympathetic media to go digging for these documents themselves?

Or is this the typical thing with the RW where the allegation is enough?

I’d believe RW talking heads more if they actually did the “real journalism” they claim the “left wing media” doesn’t do.

But they never do this…the only accuse and suppose.

Why didn’t the media report about Biden docs in ovember?!?!?! Bias!

Where were the bloggers ?

Yes, as opposed to “hard facts” like the lies used to kill the Biden laptop story.

Natasha Bertrand has never renounced her leading role in the disinformation campaign used to kill the Biden laptop story. Now she is the lead reporter on national security for CNN. Disinformation is wonderful so long is it the “right” disinformation. On the other hand, truth must be suppressed if it counters the official narrative.

This is a pertinent question.

But again, if LW media is in “the pay of the government “, why didn’t the RW media report it?

My guess is, the Biden team kept a tight lid on this and NO media knew about it in November.

The way KJP went into Panic Anger Defense Mode when asked this very question leads me to believe this is one story Biden prevented from leaking.

Why switxh topics?

It wasn’t a report it was a political allegation. Your attempt at making it more than that is no different from what the campaign tried to do.

FBI raids to come?

Biden’s next batch of classified documents were found in the garage to one of his houses.
Remember comments about how the private residence at Mar a Largo was not a secure area and put the country at risk?
I do.

Just… it’s just. Garage!! In a freaking garage!

It started 6 years ago when he took them. Your paltry 18 months pales in comparison.

It was just two months ago anybody knew about it.

But if an investigation proves Biden knew about it six years ago, then go full bore after him.

No, at best this will keep Joe from running in 2024. Perhaps that’s what this is about. My question is why are his aides looking for classified docs and reporting it to the press?.
