Right, he’s just stuck in your mind is all.
“Back when I graduated from college”
No sure when that was, but I graduated in 1990. I don’t recall any separate ceremonies taking place then.
I sure wish some individuals would decide what they wanna be to be called wannabes. Do they want inclusion?
Inclusion would be as it historically has taken place, mixing, mingling, marrying, if one chose, someone of another background. It would mean students of various backgrounds, ideas, faiths studying & graduating together.
Do they want segregation? That would entail separate classrooms, graduation ceremonies, etc. Seems to me Pride organizations, safe spaces and the like are more along these lines.
The left needs to stop being so bipolar & make up its mind. Do they feel racial and other minorities should be a part of American society? Or apart from it?
No no no, Conan. Remember, you have been keeping a death count on Biden since his very first day in office. Biden owns all of this, in your opinion. If he is to blame for the deaths, he is to be credited for the vaccine.
Fair is fair.

Nah, more like stuck between my teeth like a popcorn kernel. Annoying but in the end, will be happily gone and never missed.
He can’t screw anything up now, I could care less what he does, what he says, or who kisses up to him. He is irrelevant.

Irrelevant? He is in the lead to be the GOP nominee in the next Presidential election, hardly irrelevant.
Sure, we’ll go with that for why the first thing to come out of your mouth was, “Trump!” in response to the OP.

Like abortion & transgender in the military? Like destroying jobs on the pipeline?
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m starting to see Barak Obama as a model of sanity compared to his former VP. Maybe those who said BHO was the adult in the room were right.
Definitely some of his moves, like the Affordable Care Act, were misguided. But at least he was addressing a concern of a percentage of Americans, how high a percentage depending on what state—getting health insurance to maybe provide more care options than public health clinics & one stop shopping in the E R.

Graduations can be big and onerous affairs, and in the age of COVID perhaps smaller ceremonies are better. I know I had a few different ceremonies when I graduated, one for my program and one for the college.
If folks want to do things a certain way it is no big deal, whatever floats your boat.

Yeah, I suspect until a higher percentage of the population takes advantage of available vaccines, online classes & graduation ceremonies may be here to stay.
Don’t forget to segregate them based on race and sexual preferences, etc… It’s for the greater goo(D).

Might wanna check Biden’s self made southern border ■■■■ show before making statements like that.
Meanwhile back on topic…
I remember when we as a people believed in bringing people together no matter the color of their skin…
Now leftists seem hell bent on segregation because of skin color…it’s not a return to anything positive.

It does make things easier when they’re open about their classical views though.

Obama was much more centrist than Biden, but Cons treated him like Stalin. Which always seemed odd to folks on the Left. But he was the one who authorized gays and trans in the military (due to Biden’s pressure), he was the one to push for same sex marriage (again, with Biden’s prompting). Abortion numbers went down under Obama, not up.
The abortion rate (per 1,000 women ages 15-44) declined 4% in the Reagan administration, and another 4% in George H. W. Bush’s four-year presidency. Then, it plummeted by 30% during President Bill Clinton’s two terms, and slowed once again during President George W. Bush’s two terms, with only a 3% drop. Under Obama it dropped 26%. No data is available with Trump’s presidency but in general, if you don’t like abortion it is always better to have a Democrat as President. Granted, collection methods differ and one can argue that the data may be skewed a tad, but the differences seem striking to me.

Tax increases…riding gas prices…a complete cluster ■■■■ at the southern border…China really could be eating our lunch…putting thousands of hardworking Americans out of a job on day 1 with the stroke of a pen…
I m not sure what your point is other than the tried and false liberal technique of demeaning conservatives but you really have no idea how petty you sound.

So… this is basically getting upset about school sponsored zoom calls where everyone is invited?
This is what conservatives care about?

You got us now! Don’t let up! Give us a year or so and things will get fixed, then you guys can break it again. In the meantime, just pour on the outrage! Dr. Suess! Mr. Potatohead! Muppets! So much to worry about!

Yes, sorry I dropped the classiness of complaining about toys, graduations, muppet shows and Dr. Suess.
Agreed, wonderfully put. And the greatest pro-child program ever enacted.
