Sure. If you read THE ACTUAL REPORTS instead of a Washington Post article, you will see that both reports say that the Russian organization started its operations to influence Americans between 2012 and 2013. When did Trump announce his candidacy? 2015. Debate THAT.

That will send them running away…

So why do you think the Russian plan sought to activate conservatives and support Donald Trump, while suppressing or undermining liberal and Democratic constituencies?

1. Hillary was going to be the next President. Everybody knew that. The media told us that daily (talk about vote suppression). If Russia was out to disrupt the democratic process, why waste time undermining someone who didn’t have a chance.

2. They simply believed his statements about trying to get along with Russia and to negotiate our differences. They thought his foreign policy was better for Russia. One party would naturally be seen as the more favorable.

3. The pee tapes are real and not just part of paid for DNC propaganda.

Take your pick or some combination. In either case, the Russians are responsible for whatever pathetically minor influence they tried to have on the campaign.

Give us an example of how you think African Americans were duped into not voting.

I never made a general claim that they were, so your question is off-point, deflective, and stupid. My premise is about the goals, aims, and rationale of the Russian interference/propaganda/disinformation campaign, as determined in the two reports I refer to. It’s in the question in the OP. Refer back to it, if you are confused.

I am not buying what you are selling. African Americans value the right to vote. If you think they can be so easily fooled into giving up that right just through social media, I am here to say that is unlikely. I have met too many intelligent African Americans to but that horse ■■■■■ I suggest that anyone who believes this challenge it instead of just believing it and then asking “why”.

Your trolling isn’t making sense. Is the Senate report conclusion - about what Russia attempted wrt African-American voters - wrong? (If so, how would you know?). Or are you complaining that the Russian effort was racist?

Just a clarification about the term “Senate Report” used in the title and here. To me, the term Senate Report would indicate a report from and approved by the Senate, or at least a committee thereof. These types of reports often have minority reports by the other party.
Actually, at this point this is a Report provided to the Senate from some tech companies.

Yes. It looks like they had two reports done. The Senate has made no official statement about either, as far as I know.
