They don’t even want to discuss it, or amend it, or do anything, really.

I saw something about this earlier off-site. I don’t care for the Democrats but what’s in this bill? There’s gotta be something… It took three hours for someone to even respond to this thread.

I figured an amendment process is what would make a bill go far enough or not. Sounds like they just didn’t want the other side getting there first. Now it appears that there won’t be enough time left in the year to consider a bill for it at all.

If it had been the Dems who proposed the bill, and the GOP who blocked, we’d have wall-to wall media hyping that GOP doesn’t want reform.
