I’m rooting for 60 Rs in the Senate.
The Republicans won’t get there this year, but if they can make it to 55 they have a good shot at 60 in 2024.
It looks like he actually has a real shot at winning, which would be shocking in my mind. When was the last time NY had a Republican governor? (I personally can’t answer that without Google.)

I’m going very conservative (it’s my natre).

48 - Dem
1 - independent (who will caucus with the dem’s)

I completely forgot abour Pataki.
Last minute polling isn’t as significant as it might once have been. Many if not most have already voted.
Two years ago I voted on actual Election Day. The place was nearly empty.
I hear you this election will be put a big spot light on polling if it’s way off the margin again. Or they could be right on the money, it just feels different than what the polls are saying. If the situation was in reverse and the GOP was in charge I would fully expect with a 40 year high inflation there would be a massive blue wave.

The objective is safety not so much reform.
