She hasn’t said it yet, but I bet she still caucuses with the Democrats. She will use her newfound independence to get whatever committee assignments and chairmanships she can get. Good for her by the way!

It’s not 50/50.

A slightly different shade of makeup on the same wrinkled face.

She hasn’t gotten any attention in a minute. Should have seen it coming. Shame on us for neglecting her needs.

She’ll vote just like before. Just burnishing her “Maverick” credentials before reelection campaign in ‘24.

That would make it 50-49.

No difference for the majority.

Maybe she wasn’t so impressed with the Hobbs and Kelly wins.

Glad you brought that up. She is independent. Wish more politicians would serve all the people rather than then …

If she wants a committee seat she will caucus with Democrats. This changes nothing.

Democrat party…Individual thinkers need not apply.

I’m guessing she realizes she will not get the Democratic or Republican nomination. Thus…independent. How would Arizona handle it if neither of three candidates got half or more of the votes?

All independents do.

That may change soon depending on the MAGA War.

It would be cool if she didn’t caucus with either.

It would be, but it’s not really practical. She would have no input on anything and only get to vote on what was brought to the floor. Wouldn’t be on any committees let alone chair any.

Oh I don’t know, I think she might. Somebody would try to woo her.

Not sure how that works. IF she is wooed by one side or the other how does that work without her caucusing with that side?

She is such a pain in the ass. I don’t believe this is for any reason other than she doesn’t care for being just one of many, and wants to be “special” again.

Good! I take as much pleasure when I see her upsetting the progressive left as I take seeing Collins or Murkowski ticking off the Trump right.

I wonder what how her voters feel about this. If I was her constituent, I’d be irritated.
