He’s explained that photo and why he was yelling at an officer behind those two officers, not at them.

Cash said he wasn’t yelling at the state troopers seen in the photo – “I didn’t scream in anybody’s face” – but at an officer positioned behind them who he said he saw assault a woman the day before. Three women were removed from the public gallery for the state House of Representatives on April 29. The incident was caught on video, showing a woman being forcibly removed. The incident prompted an announcement by the Michigan State Police that it was investigating the confrontation between individuals and House police.

The next day, when the now-infamous photo of him was taken, Cash said he was in the Capitol when he saw the officer.

“I was there chanting, ‘Let us in,’ and I saw that guy and I just, I just kind of lost it a little bit,” Cash said. He said that he was asking the man, whom he called a “red coat,” a reference to the red coats they wear, “if he wanted to try to throw me around like he did that girl yesterday.”

Boy, he looks REALLY angry for someone who only witnessed an assault against an innocent woman. Imagine his reaction if she’d been killed by the officer! I guess some people don’t know how to remain calm in the face of outrageous provocation.

Yeah, he might go out and loot a Nike store!

If this is true, I think we can lay to rest any doubts anyone left might have had that Arbery is in any ways responsible for his own death because there would be no doubt at the time of the video, Arbery felt he was in danger from the three people involved (the McMichaels and Bryan). And he would be totally justified in believing so.

This should be open and shut. They should also review every case ever worked by McMichael that involved black people.

I said earlier that Bryan would sing like a bird, especially if they offered him a deal for his full unadulterated testimony. But I still don’t understand why Aubrey didn’t stop, assess and decide, I’mean, it’s not like they tried to run him over or called him a ******.

This is really one of the sickest and most disgusting things I think I’ve ever read on these forums. Blaming the victim, even when more and more damning evidence comes out that the men who did this were some of the lowest scum ever to exist, as if we didn’t already know that.

The suggestion that a man being chased by a bunch of armed racist ■■■■■ should have been calm and collected enough to have made a rational decision about the logistics of being chased down by armed assailants on either side in vehicles.

The emotional “rush” happens in the aftermath of a traumatic event followed by the post adrenaline crash.

Basic human physiology.

If prior there was a comment like, "I’m gonna kill that “N Word”, then you have established prior intent and grounds for a civil rights prosecution.

Basic law.

Simply a fact, his own behavior is partially what led to his death.

He had many options available to him other than the one he chose which was the one most likely to lead to his own death.

Self defense instructors use cases like this to teach people how to make better choices to increase your odds of survival.

There’s no evidence these guys are racists and a great deal of evidence to suggest they are not.

What’s disgusting is making things like that up to smear them just because of your own political bent.

You don’t have to be calm, cool, and collected to chose the path least likely to lead to your own death. In fact all you have to do is follow your own basic survival instincts.

You can’t outrun a pickup so hang a left or right and get off the road.

Basic common sense and survival instinct.

If our ancestors lacked those basic survival skills none of us would be here today because humanity would have been extinct before it even gained a foothold on the planet.
