Why do you keep ignoring the fact they kept following and confronting him after he tried to flee for his safety

The video shows him in the building for less then a min, he looked around for the owner and left.

If he was fleeing for his life he wouldn’t have been pleasurably jogging down the street.

Make up your mind.

Your also ignoring that the two suspect had no knowledge of him entering the site till AFTER the shooting.

You’re just making things up now. There’s no evidence whatsoever to suggest he even knew the owners.

He was out of sight in the rear of and in the home for a good five minutes according to what is reported.

We don’t see the entire video of what he was doing in the home either.

That isn’t true.

Based on what’s known now it appears the dad actually witnessed him creeping around, disappearing behind, then exiting the home.

That’s when he called his son telling him he’d identified the possible burglar.

Based on the fact the house under construction isn’t within view of their home there is no possible way they could “See” do anything.

Why didn’t the Father and Son report that they saw him enter the building till AFTER the video tape from down the street was release, they didn’t mention it in their police report it wasn’t till the video was release they changed their story.

You didn’t address the first half of my post.

Why not just watch the guy? Then when/if he does something illegal, then call the cops. Why get involved and start tension before you know if anything is even going on?

You’re just making things up and assuming again. The dad wouldn’t have had to call the son if he was at home when he observed what was going on.

Why didn’t the dad tell the police this when they took his statement.

When the Father and Son made their first statement to the police they claimed they suspected he was a criminal that performed a number of crime weeks prior they made no mention of the house under construction.

I addressed it. There doesn’t have to be any tension.

“Hey, you look lost, can I help”?

“Hey, is your car broke down? Do you need help or have help coming”?

If I see a moving van or big truck of any kind backing into my neighbor’s place when I know they generally aren’t home or if say I know they are out of town for a few days I’m definitely going to investigate.

That’s a very common way home invaders gain access and clean people out when they are at work or out of town.

It could also be a legit delivery but the guy has the wrong address. If that’s the case why would I want to waste police time and resources for that?

First statements are almost always going to be incomplete and lacking details.

If you had just been arrested after a prolonged struggle in which you’d just shot someone 3 times how coherent do you honestly think your first statement would be?

I think “I saw him commit a crime” would be at the top of my list.

Why does this need to be explained? That kid did not deserve to be followed and killed

You have no clue what your mental state would be like, neither does anyone else who’s never spent any time studying the subject or who hasn’t been through training for traumatic events.

He certainly deserved to be followed, he’d just committed an illegal trespass and possible burglary of a home.

he committed a crime with a fine of 100$ clearly he needed to be hunted down like a dog.
