4:05 PM ET – Bill O’Reilly, the best-selling author of 15 instant #1 books including the #1 “Killing” series of histories, and host of the popular daily podcast “No Spin” on billoreilly.com, has written a new book on the life of Donald Trump titled “The United States of Trump: How the President Really Sees America, discusses the democratic debate last night.
The first to register his displeasure with the debate was former Obama adviser David Axelrod. He thought Senator Elizabeth Warren (MA) and former Vice President Joe Biden had their tout-able moments but seemed disappointed there were no “fiery moments” that stood out.
“There were some confrontations but for whatever reason and it may be that people are uneasy in a race where people are well-liked, generally, to take on folks that might drive second choices away, drive the undecided away,” he said.
Former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe was “surprised” and “shocked” by the lack of aggression from the candidates.
“I mean, this is the last shot you’ve got until the Iowa caucus in three weeks. The four front runners, nobody went after each other. I was really surprised at that. Joe Biden has been leading the race since he got into it, nobody touched him tonight, nobody went after him. It was just shocking to me that this is your last shot to make an impression before you go in it,” he lamented. (H/T Newsbusters)

Last night the news broke that General Flynn is exercising his right to remove his guilty plea, a statement regarding this update:
Michael T. Flynn Withdraws His Plea
Today, General Michael T. Flynn has exercised his right to move to withdraw his plea of guilty because the government has engaged in bad faith and vindictive conduct, and it has breached the plea agreement pursuant to which he has cooperated for two years. The government only recently learned of this motion, and it has not replied on the withdrawal. It agreed yesterday to a continuance of 30 days because of the many developments, including the prosecutors recent filing and its production in December of 637 pages of 302s and handwritten notes that we have long been promised.
Gen. Flynn is innocent of all charges, the government’s allegations are false, and evidence the government released only recently needs to be reviewed and addressed. Mr. Flynn was always truthful, and future filings will make that clear. Gen. Flynn has been targeted by vindictive and unprincipled prosecutors.
The November 2017 plea agreement contracted between Gen. Flynn and the government that, so long as Gen. Flynn met the terms of cooperation set forth in the plea—which required TRUTHFUL testimony—the government would file a departure motion with the court. In good faith, Gen. Flynn performed his side of the bargain. The government acknowledged this substantial cooperation both in its original sentencing memo and in its statements to the court at the December 2018 hearing.
5:05 PM ET – James O’Keefe, CEO and founder of Project Veritas talks about his work and exposure of Bernie Sanders’ corrupt staff. His second video was released just today. With last night’s democratic debates it’s clear that there is tension on the left. From the Washington Times:
In the video, Project Veritas President James O’Keefe displayed Federal Election Commission records showing that Mr. Jurek has worked for six months for the Sanders campaign, earning about $11,000, and that he was employed briefly by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2018.
Project Veritas also posted a Sept. 21 tweet by Sanders Iowa field director Brooke Adams showing a photo of Mr. Jurek and describing him as one of the campaign’s “top tier organizers.”
“Is Kyle Jurek the true but hidden face of the Sanders campaign? Is the Sanders campaign going to fire Kyle Jurek? Are they going to say he’s a lone wolf or an isolated incident?” asked Mr. O’Keefe in the video.
The Washington Times reached out to the Sanders campaign for comment but received no reply. Top campaigns for the party presidential nomination typically have hundreds of paid staffers.
In the video, Mr. Jurek said that Trump supporters would need to be re-educated, comparing them to Nazi supporters at the end of World War II, and expressed support for Soviet-style gulags, which he said were “a lot better than what the CIA has told us.”
