4:05 PM ET – Congressman Devin Nunes of California’s 22nd district, is a former dairy farmer, and just loves what presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg had to say about the hardworking farmers of America. Nunes joins us on this and all the other news regarding Coronavirus, election 2020 and the expected fallout for Mueller’s minions from Durham’s report.
“One thing that I tell the American people every time that I speak and I go out on the road and I talk to people is that, remember, the deep state here is much worse than even I thought it ever was,” Nunes said in an interview along with Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, to talk about efforts to renew and reform parts of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
Trump’s distrust of people inside the White House and the federal government has intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, and he believes his government is filled with “snakes” he wants to be fired and replaced. Steps are already being taken to weed them out.
4:30 PM ET – Congressman Doug Collins of Atlanta, who was a force to be reckoned with during the impeachment hearings as a member of the House Judiciary Committee, had this to say about the FISA court and the dems proposal:
“In order to restore the American people’s faith in our premier law enforcement agency, we must reform FISA to ensure our intelligence community and FBI are deterred from ever wielding their significant power to spy on American citizens.”
WASHINGTON — Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, released the following statement after House Democrats introduced their FISA reform legislation. This bill is set for markup on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
“Democrats are completely ignoring the serious abuse committed against President Trump’s campaign in 2016, regardless of the fact that Inspector General Horowitz’s report confirmed that our intelligence community committed an unforgivable offense when the FBI abused its power to unlawfully spy on Carter Page. There must be accountability for those who committed these offenses and Mr. Nadler’s bill fails to impose any penalty on wrongdoers.
“In order to restore the American people’s faith in our premier law enforcement agency, we must reform FISA to ensure our intelligence community and FBI are deterred from ever wielding their significant power to spy on American citizens. Any FISA reform bill that moves forward must protect American citizens—including future presidents and presidential campaigns—from unlawful spying. Democrats’ bill fails to accomplish this goal, and in fact, makes it more difficult to conduct legitimate surveillance against terrorist targets. The American people deserve better.”

Bernie Sanders released a fact sheet Monday night explaining that he’d pay for his sweeping new government programs through new taxes and massive lawsuits, as well as by slashing spending on the military, among other methods.
The effort sought to head off complaints from Republicans and some rival Democrats that his plans were economically unrealistic, especially after a head-turning CBS News interview in which the frustrated Vermont senator said he couldn’t “rattle off to you every nickle and every dime” about his proposed expenditures.
He released his plan on his website just minutes after promising to do so during a CNN town hall.
However, the fact sheet highlighted for the first time that many of Sanders’ expected cost-saving measures relied heavily on conjecture. For example, Sanders’ projections stated without providing details that his Green New Deal plan would create “20 million new jobs,” thus ensuring $2.3 trillion in “new income tax revenue.”
