3:30 PM ET – Freedom Caucus Member, Congressman Louie Gohmert of the great state of Texas has an interesting perspective on what is happening with the impeachment hearings. His perspective is valuable considering his vast knowledge of the law as an Army attorney and a former Judge in the Army.

4:05 PM ET – Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, represents a vast district (NY- 21) north of Albany that stretches to the Canadian border, has received some newfound fame following her participation with some other key Republicans in the fight against Shifty Schiff and the Schiff Sham show.

4:30 PM ET – Freedom Caucus member Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida is here to discuss the ridiculous production put on yesterday by the democrats and yet again the expense of the taxpayer. Instead of working and passing legislation to help the American people they continue to push to unseat a duly elected President with fake news accusations and fabrications. Matt Gaetz held former Obama administration employee, and legal expert for the democrats, Professor Pamela Karlan to task on her bias. Her donations to democrats, including to Elizabeth Warren just this past July, and her articles and outspoken disdain for the President completely swayed her ability to be objective in this hearing. Congressman Matt Gaetz made sure this did not unnoticed, along with her comments about the President’s 13-year-old son:

Gaetz fumed at the remark, saying it does not lend “credibility” to her argument.

“When you invoke the president’s son’s name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump… it makes you look mean, it makes you look like you are attacking someone’s family: the minor child of the president of the United States.”

Later, First Lady Melania Trump ripped Karlan for bringing up her son, claiming she should be ashamed for using a child in the pursuit of public “pandering.”

“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics,” Mrs. Trump wrote. “Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.”

5:05 PM ET – John Solomon, Fox News Contributor, and Investigative Reporter is here with what he expects the most salient points from next week’s release of the IG report. The FISA report is set to be made public on Monday, December 9th, followed by the testimony of the IG, Michael Horowitz on Wednesday, December 11th.

This may not be the most politically hot topic to emerge from the report, but it is potentially the most important for protecting against future civil liberties violations and FBI intrusions on an American election. What will Horowitz recommend as remedies so we don’t have another Russia collusion fiasco in the future? Do FBI and DOJ need new rules and thresholds for opening probes of candidates and campaigns? Does the FBI system for vetting informants need to be fixed? Does the FISA court need a public advocate to protect the liberties of Americans targeted for warrants to create a check and balance on the FBI? Do the Woods procedures for verifying evidence for a FISA warrant need revision or overhaul? These are weighty questions that the FBI, DOJ and Congress almost certainly will face in the coming months.

The Horowitz report Monday and the IG’s testimony next Wednesday before the Senate start a new phase of accountability for the FBI and those government officials in the intelligence community who worked on the Russia case. But it is only the beginning of a process that likely will take many more weeks or months.
