I wouldn’t think it necessary for rent seeking.

And now nobody does anything on the trading floor anymore!

All because you went Hawaiian shirt and tie

the only people who may face jail with this decision are those who discriminate. I’m not aware that anyone else is at risk of incarceration.

The law as written has criminal penalties? Really? Or is that unintended consequence you are imagining

We know you do., bro. And some of us do. The per cent of people who do is much lower than it should be.

What part of your culture isn’t being respected?

You can still think gays are icky…you simply can’t discriminate against them.

This is a problem for you…how?

perpetrators of discrimination should be rotting in jail.

who is with me?

These are the same rights you have.

You can always sue if you think you have a case you were wrongfully terminated for discrimination.

An LGBTQ would have to do so too…it’s not going to be just assumed they were fired or discriminated against on the basis of their sexual orientation.

So they were given the same rights you already have…not new rights you don’t have.

In the absence of toilet paper, ties are handy.

There’s no jail time for people, who discriminate.

Never has been.

So you agree that Biden is a fry short of a happy meal.

Some people will never accept them, nor are they required to.

But folks need to be tolerant of things they do not accept. Tolerance is needed.

I wouldn’t say that.

It’s just a conservative dodge to rationalize a vote for trump

Same as Hillary on her deathbed four years ago.

63% of Americans think LGBTQ is morally acceptable.
55% believe most Americans think LGBTQ is acceptable.
72% think it’s acceptable if they are clergy
80+% think it’s acceptable they be teachers (81% elementary 83% high school)
83% think they can serve in the armed forces and be open about their sexuality
75% think they should be allowed to adopt children
55% are satisfied with how LGBTQ are accepted in this country…23% want MORE acceptance (compared to only 8% who want less).

So in this poll, there is literally no metric that suggests a majority of Americans believe LGBTQ is not normal or immoral.

Those who believe it’s immoral or not normal are in the distinct minority.

those who believe its immoral are the immoral ones

They should not be. I am even iffy on hate crimes

what is a hate crime? In plain english please.

A hate crime is a crime committed because of a persons race, religion ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability

That’s an easy one

Allan

the irony is that those that oppose LGBTQ equality are now the deviants of society… and we know how they feel about deviants…
