when i was on the trsding floor the original dress code was shirt with a collar and a tie.
for a bunch of guys spending all day on their feet yelling and screaming.

eventually most traders started wearing polo shirt with ties. I tended more toward hawaiian shirts with a tie.
eventually the tie rule was junked because it was silly. guys would wear the same tie for years,never even untying in. If i had a real bad day i put my tie into the paper shredder

And now nobody does anything on the trading floor anymore!

Their jobs are federally protected and applicants for jobs cannot be discriminated against because of their identity lest the employer be liable for a civil rights lawsuit.
Think of it, a whole new means for those who wear

These are the same rights you have.

You can always sue if you think you have a case you were wrongfully terminated for discrimination.

An LGBTQ would have to do so too…it’s not going to be just assumed they were fired or discriminated against on the basis of their sexual orientation.

So they were given the same rights you already have…not new rights you don’t have.
