Rep. Adam Schiff set his sights on a new target this week and directly accused Donald Trump Jr. of “misleading the country” during testimony he delivered months ago; baselessly suggesting the President’s eldest son made false “statements about Moscow.”
“We have a lot of concerns about the veracity of [Trump Jr.’s] statements about the Moscow-Trump Tower meeting. We know that publicly he misled the country about that meeting and the character of that meeting just as his father… misled the country about that,” said the House Intel Chairman.

Schiff’s comments come hours after the Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed Trump Jr. to expand on more than 20 hours of testimony regarding his meeting at Trump Tower heading into the 2016 election.
