Fading presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren doubled-down on her demands for major Congressional reforms Monday; saying the federal government must eliminate the filibuster to protect Americans from pharmaceutical companies and protect the environment.
“Come on Democrats, it’s time. We’ve got to roll back the filibuster… I want to make a pitch on that. That filibuster operates -in effect- to give the oil industry, a veto… the pharmaceutical industry a veto,” Warren told a crowd in Iowa.
