It’s supposedly a test that determines potential fitness for college work. Most universities & colleges consider SAT/ACT—if I’m not mistaken, the latter exam includes more subjects than English & math—as well as difficulty of course work, grades, & extracurricular involvement as far as whether ir not they accept a potential student.

Strange idea, but I suppose it has its merits. I got my AA from Columbia College, where getting in is as easy as enrolling (like every community college in the country), then completed my Bachelor’s of Mathematics from Missouri S&T.

I never took some silly aptitude test, I simply enrolled and maintained honors.

Are you an Asian-American, born to parents who raised you speaking English, who worked hard to give you good educational opportunities? Too bad, because that “dreamer” who is a gang member and who was raised by a single mother now has a higher ‘adversity score’, meaning he will be taking your place!

America’s educational system has gone nuts, and now is now actively punishing people for having English as their native language or for having a mother and father.

I agree with that during my AA classes. When I got focused on my major, it was more like uber-intelligent savants from India and China competing with average ol’ me.

I took a STEM course for my graduation. Average idiots don’t even pass their second Calculus class.
