No Biden did not get the clean debt limit increase that was his starting negotiating position, but he only made minimal concessions, while the House Republicans got only thing – the increase in SNAP requirements and to get that they conceded loosening requirements for veteran and children in a fashion that overall SNAP costs will rise… even though their goal was to shrink the deficit.
Looking at the concessions on both sides, don’t you think size matters?

I’m not saying there weren’t concessions in the the discussion. But the size of the concessions was so lopsided that the winners and losers are clear. If this energy matter was such a good deal, why did every Freedom Caucus member except MTG vote against it?
