I’m perpetuating the point that only you care? Okay.

Nonsense. That the good parts have shrunk is not in contention, and since SF is the same area as it has always been, that means the bad parts have grown. Simple math.

The only thing you are perpetuating is your ■■■■■■■■■
Question … Where do street walkers and street people (the homeless) hang out?
They all produce software. In SF.
The idea that the good parts have shrunk and the bad parts have grown is preciously whats in contention.
And all of this simply because I made a quip about homeless people not ■■■■■■■■ on the street because they’d get hit by a car.

Although, people in Missouri are well aware that the largest Earthquake(s) to ever happen in the United States was right here, in a land strewn with sinkholes and hollow limestone bedrock.
It’s not what’s above you that you have to worry about, it’s what’s below.

Not at all. The evidence is all to the contrary.

Lovely place, over run by homeless encampments and crime, with the problem growing as their policies encourage both. So rich and well managed that their tax base is fleeing and they are looking at budget deficits in the hundreds pf millions, year after year, going forward. Citizens, and businesses (large and small) are voting their disapproval with their feet. And since the “elites” in charge won’t change their policies, it will continue to spiral downward, more taxes, followed by more economic flight.
Great, maybe you can pick up the ball Samm dropped and provide some.

The exodus
Is the homeless population increasing or decreasing
Sanctuary for illegals
None of that proves that the bad areas have increased.

Was there an unchallenged open air drug market in the Tinderloin District in the past? Were there vast homeless encampments in the past? Did drug paraphernalia and human waste litter the streets gutters and walk ways of the district? Sure there are elite enclaves, with walls, gates and lots of security. The place has a pre-French Revolution feel to it.

My company restricted us to very few places a few years ago because we had so many car break ins. We had to change the hotels we stayed in also. We stopped all overnights in Oakland and severely curtailed the ones in SF.
Yes.
Yes.
In the Tenderloin? Yes.

This is a fantasy. You understand that, right?
It’s like none of these conservatives comment have spent any amount of time in SF. The bad “blocks” are tiny compared to the greater SF.
Even the bad blocks aren’t that bad. And the homes are still 1 million +
San Francisco has always been a kinda dirty city. That’s part of it’s appeal. I remember cons wringing their hands and clutching their pearls about San Francisco and the Bay back when I lived there a decade ago.

Tell the people and companies leaving that it’s a fantasy. I suspect they are having a hard time seeing the magnificent robes the city is draped in.
I had a much different experience in the past in San Francisco. Being from Santa Cruz , we regularly went into the city. I always thought it was much cleaner than any other big city I had been to. My brother lived in SF until just a few years ago and it has gone down hill a lot just since then.

I used to love going there. Just too many things happened there to others in our company to ignore. Lots of great food though. We ended always overnighting in Napa instead or even San Jose.
