I believe close to 150 posts in this thread have been deleted, so I’m not sure if the posts in question are still here - but I’ve made it perfectly clear that I don’t care about this at all.

I don’t care that she used a bad word. I don’t care that you’re upset by it. I have little use for outrage - I didn’t care when Rush called Sandra Fluke a slut and I didn’t care when Ted Nugent called Hillary a “toxic ■■■■■■ either.

My posts, including the one you quoted, were part of a longer conversation specifically arguing about the definition of the word “mistake”, and its meaning and proper use, nothing more. Most of that conversation is no longer present in the thread.

I was responding directly to thinkingman’s post, where he minimized Laura Ingraham’s comments and shifted the blame to Hogg, in attempting to differentiate “good” boycotts from “bad” ones.

No, it wasn’t negated. High chose not to accept it, but that didn’t make it disappear.

There is, of course, a significant difference as well - namely, Hogg was the target of Ingraham’s remarks - BillBrown was not the target of Bee’s remarks.

To be as one-sided as that and act like there’s no incivility on one side when you have President Trump who has made fun of the handicapped, called entire ethnic communities by racial slurs along with many other things is really flying blind. Liberals do not say anything they want. If anything, given some of the slurs thrown at President Obama, they’ve been pretty mild.
