Look, corruption in the government today is broad and it is deep. Since Congress determines if and when we go to war, that means the Democrat-majority Congress can always draft people at their leisure. Pelosi and her minions can decide who to send to war. My two cents, not that anyone cares. But I do accept that at times the needs of the country do require us to do our part in war. I accepted that in the pretty safe 90s, but knew it was a possibility And I can’t think of a reason why women shouldn’t also.

We drafted 10 million men during WWII. Should we not have done that? Do you speak German? How about Japanese? Without a draft, you would be.

Yep. The picture that was painted for the public was lines of patriots volunteering to serve, but the fact is over 60% were drafted.

Possible outcomes I have seen put forth are, it ends when Britain nukes Berlin with their own nuke developed by their Tube Alloy project or a stalemate. Nobody seriously thinks they could have invaded and held America if we had stayed out. With Japan concentrating on and having their hands full with China.

Then your JROTC leadership was completely out of sync with military protocol. Personal behavior of the leadership is never an excuse to not follow orders.
