To use an extreme example -
One has the right to believe a black person should die tomorrow because he’s black.
One does not have the right to kill a black person tomorrow because he’s black.
Obviously, denying service is nothing like murder. But the principle is the same.
But FTR, you are right SCOTUS stretched the commerce clause farther than it ever has for PA laws. If you read the opinions, they explain their reasoning as best they can, but will always be a stretch.
