Since Russia’s goal is to help Trump by trying to swing votes his way, and Russia’s secondary goal is to help Trump by supporting his preferred opponent, I don’t anticipate any motivation for change from the Republicans.

The Russians were only successful with causing chaos in 2016 because we had some dumb asses in the DNC and Hilary campaign who gave away their e-mail login info. The Russians were very ineffectual otherwise. They paid very little for ads across Google and FaceBook. Both the Trump and Clinton campaign ads completely dwarfed the Russian’s attempts.
