So then what’s the point of releasing this now? It’ll make MAGAs even more paranoid that everyone hates Trump and them by extension? Some conspiracy? What’s the point? It doesn’t change the political landscape at all.

Domestic politics, especially in today’s environment, has more partisan emotion behind it. The emotion behind the Iraq War was the bi-partisan reaction to 911. Different conditions driving the reaction.
…not to mention weaponzing our government including our FISA court system.

Maybe so. But they all know the precedent this would set for future presidents. And that I think is why they’ll squash it quickly.
Plus Iraq got thousands of people killed over the years. Far as I can tell no one even got physically hurt off of this.

Russia did launch cyberattacks against the us election apparatus. They just weren’t successful. And nobody said they were successful.

This is actually the firmest crime committed. Presenting knowingly false evidence to the court is a crime, doing so to use the police powers of government to conduct unwarranted persecution of a citizen for political gain is official repression.
