Posted this in the other thread. But i am 99% positive this is the 1st time a member of the Presidents own party have voted in the Senate to remove him from office. Ever.
Making this the very first bipartisan vote to remove a Sitting President.

Interesting. Those are pretty ironic standards considering the support for a wildly big-spending, anti gun, liberal-turned-republican globalist.

This is correct.

You caused a tear to stream softly down my cheek.

Yay Mitt. It’s his runner up trophy for not cutting it as POTUS.

I’m going to ‘like’ the posts that state that every time I see one, lol.

I am proud of Romney. He was the last Republican presidential candidate that I voted for, and I am proud of that vote. Well done Mr. Romney!

He can wear the Scarlet “I” now and forever.

He probably won’t care. He was 1st!!

He voted his conscience, yes on Article I, no on Article II.

That is good enough for me.

Does not effect my opinion of him in the slightest.

Conscience my butt. Laying the groundwork for 2024 potus run

Probably not president. Probably senate majority leader.

When he is 76? Doubtful. Maybe laying the groundwork for an Independent run in 2020?

With 6 years of Senate seniority???

No way in Hell this guy can run for president anymore. He’ll be a senator from Utah as long as he wants tho.

Dare we hope?

I, for one, would LOVE to see Trump’s reaction. Someone would have to physically wrestle his phone away from him.:rofl:
