Because correlation doesn’t not imply causation.

Business as usual then? No escalation? Much ado about nothing?

Yes it does. It implies causation. It doesn’t prove causation.

How should Trump have resisted?

Let’s Go Brandon

That’s a great question. One thing he erred on was withholding aid to Ukraine. It demonstrated to Putin that our feelings towards Ukraine weren’t that strong.

Perhaps had Obama and Trump reacted more forcefully to Putin’s actions we wouldn’t be where we are today.

Brandon agrees…

I still try and think what an appropriate response to Russia shooting a tactical nuke at a Ukrainian city like Kyiv would be. And I cant. No response makes sense.

An arms race? You can’t be serious.

An “appropriate response”?

How about benign neglect? Was Russia’s response to our using nuclear weapons “appropriate”?

Are US and world sanctions pushing Putin closer to using NBC weapons?

There all over the place just like any other group of people. My wife’s family can’t leave because of the 20 year old son who are terrified they will send him to war so he’s not allowed to leave the country he wanted to be on the Ukraine olympic swim team and was a contender in a school outside of Kyiv in Brovery.

Ukraine is no different than any other country being invaded most want it to end there not all in the streets fist pumping with AK’s most are hunkering down scared to ■■■■ or getting out only if they are not a male 18-60.

Did I say an arms race?

What do you think not withholding aid is?

Are US and world sanctions pushing Putin closer to using NBC weapons?

Is "making them “desperate” not the purpose of sanctions?

Do you not see the arms race right now?

So Trump started us on an arms race?

Yes. Was it his idea? Did he want to?
