Riots in England

So why would you question why African Americans have not embraced Musk???

Because they should. He’s one of them.

ā– ā– ā– ā–  he’s more African than I am and I’m black. I’ve never stepped foot in Africa so I don’t claim beyond having some ancestors from there.

I’m a black American. Well technically a biracial American but if I’m honest I look black so I get it.

You would have to ask them, I am a white middle aged, middle class guy, :man_shrugging:

Me too, but I know what countries are in Africa.

Wouldn’t want to make the immigrants look bad. Better to arrest the victims instead.

And that would exclude Obama, as he had no slave ancestors brought against their will.
His father was from Africa, but Musk would be even more African American since he was born in Africa.
Just say what is meant…a black person.

I was talking about believing what social media says about all manner of things. I was not even thinking about race.

I attached that to the wrong post.

ā€œPrevious reports had found evidence of ā€œappallingā€ abuse, with more than 1,400 girls abused between 1997 and 2013 in Rotherham alone. Reports also found that authorities had been scared of fueling racism in their handling of the crimes given the ethnic makeup of the perpetrators. The scandal tapped into brewing concerns about multiculturalism and mass immigration.ā€

Leftists are sick people… and there are no moderate leftists…

There has been a public inquiry into grooming gangs by the Tories in 2022. This was part of Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse The inquiry examined all aspects of child sexual exploitation, including grooming gangs across the UK. This inquiry made 20 recommendations which I do not think the tories ever implemented.

In addition local governments of Rotherham, Bristol, Telford and Oldham conducted their own inquiries.

To say this issue has been ignored is a lie but with that said I have no issue with another inquiry but how about they implement the recommendations of the original inquiry?

Anything we can do to stop the sexual exploitation of children must be done. But lets not just think its a certain religion doing this. As wrong as it was to let fear of being called racist stop people from investigating we cannot now become blinkered and think that child exploitation can only happen in certain areas.

Massive amounts of child abuse have been covered up in the UK by the ā€œestablishmentā€ especially what happened in the 70s and 80s. Its ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  despicable this ever happened.

Watch the documentaries on Jimmy Saville and you will be disgusted that he was able to get away with abusing thousands of children during his life and career.

Let’s not pretend that they aren’t the vast majority of offenders over there right now either.

Raping ā€œwhoresā€ is very much a part of it.

They could just pinpoint the problem instead of saying ā€œAsian gangsā€ which negatively paints a whole race of people. They could be more specific, these are Pakistani gangs, which many marry their first cousin and their family tree doesn’t branch much.

Its easy to come to that conclusion based on media reports. But the facts do not bear that out. However I agree it was insane not to mention criminal that grooming gangs made up of Pakistani’s or Muslim’s were allowed to continue because investigators feared being labelled racist. But then again the UK establishment has a track record of covering up child abuse and protecting certain people.

From Grok.

The demographics of grooming gangs in the UK are a complex and often debated topic, with various studies and reports providing different perspectives:

  • Ethnic Composition:

    • Some investigations and reports have highlighted that in certain high-profile cases, a significant proportion of grooming gang offenders were of South Asian, particularly Pakistani, descent. For instance, in cases like Rotherham, Rochdale, and Telford, the majority of convicted perpetrators were described as British-Pakistani men. However, this does not represent the entirety of such criminal behavior across the UK.
  • Broader Data and Analysis:

    • A 2020 Home Office report concluded that there is no reliable evidence to suggest that any particular ethnic group is disproportionately represented in grooming gang offenses. It emphasized that group-based offenders are most commonly White, although some studies have suggested an over-representation of Black and Asian offenders relative to their proportion in the general population. This report highlighted the limitations in data quality and the need for more comprehensive research.
  • Recent Statistics:

    • In 2023, data from the Hydrant Programme, which analyzes group-based sexual abuse, showed that 83% of perpetrators in grooming gang cases were White, with 7% Asian, 5% Black, and 3% mixed race. This data, however, covers only a fraction of all suspects since ethnicity data is not always recorded.
  • Public and Political Discourse:

    • The discussion around the ethnicity of grooming gangs has been politically charged, with some politicians and media focusing on the ethnicity of offenders in specific cases, leading to debates about racial bias in crime reporting and the implications for community relations. This has sometimes resulted in public misconceptions and has been criticized for promoting stereotypes.
  • Victim Demographics:

    • Victims are often young girls, with many cases involving girls from vulnerable or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. However, the demographic of victims can vary widely, and there isn’t a consistent profile across all cases.

In conclusion, while certain high-profile cases have dominated public perception, the broader data suggests a more diverse demographic among both perpetrators and victims of grooming gangs in the UK. The controversy underscores the need for nuanced reporting and policy-making that does not focus solely on ethnicity but addresses systemic failures in child protection and crime prevention across all communities.

Covering it up with what, official conclusions that people will cite as a source?

In other words, the ethnicity doesn’t get recorded unless it’s white people, then it’s definitely recorded because there’s no special group to protect.

The ā€œCertain peopleā€ comment was more along the lines of well known UK celebrities like Jimmy Saville, a plethora of radio DJ’s, Rolf Harris etc.The BBC which is part of the establishment certainly covered up or ignored allegations of abuse. Also a slew of politicians who were protected in the 70s, 80s and onwards

As for not recording ethnicity, this changes depending on the local government, local police force etc. The labor government is changing that and ensuring standardization is better moving forward. We shall see if that happens.

Regardless those who have money, influence and power will still get away with abusing children and that is horrific.

And now, apparently, dark skin color has been added to that’s list.
