I know of two such “threats” each made on video.
1.)
When a very powerful and influential person says “ABC should be done,” it is sometimes taken as a “threat,” meaning “do it or I will take action.” Technically the powerful person is just stating an opinion. This was the case with Kamala Harris in 2019 when she said Trump’s Twitter account should be suspended.

More recently (today I think) Kamala was speaking on teleprompter and said she would sick the DoJ on social media that “acts as a megaphone for misinformation.” at 36 seconds in the 47-second video below
No word salad there. Her handlers have spoken and she read what they wrote.

Doesn’t make sense to fund the furthest right websites/videos to support Trump. The people who would go to or listen to those sites would be supporting Trump to begin with. You would want to try to influence more moderate sites to do that.

I can believe they didn’t know the money came from Russia. But I can also believe they didn’t care where the money came from or they would have asked for evidence of its sources before accepting it.
