Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers and an internal police disciplinary board had recommended Middleton’s firing over several policy violations for sharing department information and for allegedly lying about it. He had also been demoted recently for a separate complaint related to accusations he used department resources to look up information about a woman he had once been romantically involved with, according to the newspaper.

Interesting development in the information age. Of course it’s nothing new and as we have seen, both sides of the radicals are being “supported” by members of the police.

Straight out of the Unconventional Warfare manual.

was relieved of his duties following a unanimous vote

Is it?

That depends on those that would oppose a unanimous decision made by those that took 9 hours to hear and evaluate the evidence and make an informed decision. It’s all over unless they decide to use violence and destruction of personal property, which has historically been a BLM tool?

Can he be charged criminally and/or civilly?

I don’t know. It isn’t my expertise but what I’ve observed is, you can be charged for just about anything. It’s whether or not you’d be convicted of the charge that is where the rubber meets the road?
