Riddle me this on the flood of migrants being a net good?

Immigrants are a good thing and the very foundation of this country but…they did it legally with the full desire to assimilate into the American Dream culture.

These are individuals that said ■■■■ our immigration laws, we’re coming whether you like it or not and many of us have no intention of assimilating. In fact…gangs have come across and are now robbing and destroying businesses in California.

That’s a good question. During the great depression, people stuck it out and worked their way out of it. They didn’t migrate to another country.

Some are probably hoping to get a good job and send money home.

Actually, it was originally with the cunning use of flags…

this holds true for just about every other “here” throughout human history across the globe

but we understand critical theory only applies to the US

nope, the Australian natives tremendously.

That was before laws made a civilized nation.

Money is good, but a person can suffocate under a pile of it. ©

so that immigration was good……except for the people who were living here.

the natives were civilized.

That’s why countries that have smart immigration policies do it based upon merit and the economic needs of their country.

there’s an even larger world outside of this forum.

“merit” is a four-ish letter word among the democrats and left

No they were not civilized. They had their own tribes.

I think I get where you are coming from…the foundation of the country etc because let’s face it the Pilgrams were in effect migrants…

But I disagree with the “Foundation of the Country” statement.

The Foundation of our Country is our Constitution and is the set of laws that we live by…the unique guarantees contained within that social contract. We are now being invaded…and that social contract is being destroyed.

National sovereignty matters…” The United States is a sovereign nation. Sovereignty is a simple idea: the United States is an independent nation, governed by the American people, that controls its own affairs. The American people adopted the Constitution and created the government. They elect their representatives and make their own laws.
The Founding Fathers understood that if America does not have sovereignty, it does not have independence. If a foreign power can tell America “what we shall do, and what we shall not do,” George Washington once wrote to Alexander Hamilton, “we have Indepen- dence yet to seek, and have contended hitherto for very little.”
The Founders believed in sovereignty. In 1776, they fought for it.” https://www.heritage.org/sites/default/files/2021-02/UnderstandingAmerica-Sovereignty.pdf

Why does sovereignty matter?

“ Control over borders, and the power of sovereignty that such control represents, have always served as a central element of state power. And a central element of a state’s power—as well as perceptions of its power—have always been tied to a state’s ability to control and defend its territorial integrity. America’s failure to control its southern border has direct national security implications, and not only for the U.S. homeland. It also contributes to the broader erosion of an international order built upon the principle of sovereignty. It is that principle––and Washington’s role in upholding it, in its commitments around the world––that is at risk.”. The Erosion of Border Control and Its Threat to National Sovereignty | Hoover Institution The Erosion of Border Control and Its Threat to National Sovereignty

The Biden bunch, led by a monument to corruption and lying named Joe Biden has effectively erased our southern border in effect choosing instead to just let anybody in…

In 2023 almost 250 years after our founding “we the people” have a right to know who’s entering this country, why they are coming,

This 4-5000 people a day just walking into America with no jobs, no homes. No visible means of support other than the charity of the taxpayers who are paying the bill is â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–

I’m sure all the people in these photos are being allowed to just walk into America because they have soooo much to offer our country.

You don’t think the colonies were civilized?

And you don’t think Native Americans were civilized?
