Yeah well, no more jobs for buggy whip makers either. Shouldn’t be tolls in the first place. I am conservative, doesn’t make me a fan of regressive taxation.

You do realize that the new way to do infrastructure (how Trump’s plan would have been structured) is public private partnerships where private companies (mostly foreign) clean up on both the front end (by getting taxpayer subsidized loans) and on the back end (getting exclusive rights for 20-30 years to charge tolls…plus extra money if a new road is ever built that could be considered a “competitor road”).
