You have really got that quite backward. The Qanons are not telling Qanons to reject their families unless their families convert. The nonQanons are rejecting their Qanon family members unless they renounce Qanon.

That makes the intolerant non-Qanons the indoctrinated cult. It is quite possible for Qanons and non-Qanons to live together with tolerance on both sides. But the media are brainwashing their audiences into being intolerant of people with views that diverge from whatever the media outlet considers to be their necessary truth.

They have done nothing recently that would have lead them to be a current event, except that they serve as a as a distraction from left wing groups burning buildings and looting in the interest of their idea of social justice.
Its weird to be asked if one will condemn the left from taking over whole segments of cities and killing people, and in response say “well…pizza shop”.

Proud boys had a rally few weeks ago and are on social media blasting about Trump and how if he loses they are going to attack people. Q just had a believer too unstable to stand trial for murder. Those things might be nothing to you, but to lots of us they are concerning.

My biggest problem with QAnon is that it’s ■■■■■■■ stupid. It’s the Slender Man copypasta of conspiracy theories.

It’s like, you wanna talk about how in the wake of WW2 the British aristocracy and the American Eastern Establishment set up a bunch of interlocking international organizations to essentially set policy for what was called the Free World back then? I’m with it. Son, I’ll break out the Carroll Quigley books that run down the list of who the actual people were.

But QAnon, every overarching thing they believe is incredibly ■■■■■■■ stupid to the point I’d be embarrassed to admit I even kinda believe it, let alone make it the mainstay of my life.
