But still climbing.

This is what I see.

And it’s now inching back up…

Can you name a month in your lifetime when prices did not go up?

The DACA are still DACA. Are you under the impression it was a perpetual state?

You, once again, have no idea what you’re talking about.

terminating it prematurely was not the way to go. i am sure you agree.

700,000 people are in DACA, periphery 200,000 us citizen children are also effected by anything DACA related.

thats a lot of people that would have been effected negatively with the termination.

You cant put the genie back in the bottle.

Allan

What was premature about it?

What does the “D” in DACA stand for?

the reasoning is in the SCOTUS opinion.

“ But State Farm teaches that when an agency rescinds a prior policy its reasoned analysis must consider the “alternative[s]” that are “within the ambit of the existing [policy].”

basically no other alternatives to termination were considered by the Trump
DHS.

Allan

The court ruled politics, not law.

You are wrong. Again. You don’t know anything about this.

 :face_with_diagonal_mouth: :weary:

DACA is renewable every 2 years.

they they can can never be deported as long as they renew every
2 years.

Allan

Have a nice day.

Wouldn’t that just cause more inflation? And the courts said he can’t do that without a law from congress. Not that the left cares about following the law…

As I educated you, Trump tried to permanently legislate DACA. This would have given those in it permanency and at the same time would have updated our immigration laws to prevent DACA being needed to be reopened again and again.
Trump wanted a ruling on the legality of DACA and at the same time allow those on it, and more, to be allowed to stay here.
DACA was illegal, as was shown when Biden tried to reopen it to allow more foreigners on it not by legislation but by one more executive decree. The courts at that point prevented it from being reopened by decree.

Good summary. And to get congress off of high center.

DACA can not go on forever. It’s not a solution.

did not try hard enough.

if he really wanted it done, he could do it.

he never wanted to.

he could have negotiated it with the dems.

did not do it.

i dont know how much clearer i can make it.
