No one knows how the public will react in 2020 we don’t know the democratic nominee yet and only have two actual impeachments that happened in the U.S. to evaluate how the public will vote after the process is finished. Imho whoever the democrats elect in the primaries will play the biggest role on whether the president is reelected, not the impeachment hearings.
