I don’t see Justice Roberts allowing them to call witnesses that are not associated in any way with the articles of impeachment. That’s just a conspiracy theorists dreams.

It is not true. There is a presidential election in November, 2020. Therefore, your assertion that:

No one knows how the public will react in 2020 we don’t know the democratic nominee yet and only have two actual impeachments that happened in the U.S. to evaluate how the public will vote after the process is finished. Imho whoever the democrats elect in the primaries will play the biggest role on whether the president is reelected, not the impeachment hearings.

The claim was that as a consequence of what happens in the Senate re the impeachment process Trump would have 5 more years. I pointed out that is just not true as a result of any reasonable scenario based on what happens in the Senate.

Yeah, how would it help Republicans to claim that it was justified to investigate Ukrainian interference in our elections by documenting that Ukrainian officials interfered in our elections?
