Schiff did not collide with the WB. The Senate won’t call him to testify because He is not a witness that will, in any way, help their defense. Just the opposite.
I don’t see Justice Roberts allowing them to call witnesses that are not associated in any way with the articles of impeachment. That’s just a conspiracy theorists dreams.

No one knows how the public will react in 2020 we don’t know the democratic nominee yet and only have two actual impeachments that happened in the U.S. to evaluate how the public will vote after the process is finished. Imho whoever the democrats elect in the primaries will play the biggest role on whether the president is reelected, not the impeachment hearings.
