Republicans against Trump

IMO there is only a smattering of people who left the party because of Trump.

Establishment types who prefer people like Romney and McCain.

I dare say that those who left have been more than offset by new folks who came into the party because of Trump. Independents and even some dems.

Trump is a conservative? On what planet?

Wow…your discernment is sooooo poor that you couldn’t understand the label she applied to herself? :sunglasses:

For my question it didn’t matter…

  1. The Kurds. Enough of our splitting up the middle east or deciding who is right or wrong. Were we supposed to go to war with the Turks over this? And what is you preferred plan…invade Turkey? Bring everybody here from the middle east who isn’t happy with the way things are going?

2., 3. Treatment of women and tweets. All of this was gone over in infinite detail before the election of 2016. These are major reasons you won’t vote for him now but apparently didn’t care in 2016? His tweets are irritating. I am more concerned about the things that affect the country…like policies on defending our borders and fair trade.

  1. Yes. Well, as you well know, those old boards aren’t available.

Oh they are available… just have to look hard. Plus I don’t think we are allowed to post those screenshots here.

I consider myself more Libertarian/Independent politically and didn’t vote for Trump, then again as a NJ resident it doesn’t matter as a R candidate has no chance in NJ. As far as I’m concerned though I will never vote for anyone in today’s Democratic party.

So that must mean you’ve left the R-Party because of President Trump to join the D-Party cesspool filth of socialism, or a “make America decline again” third party?

More proof that there are plenty of Republicans who dislike the filth that Trump has brought to the Republican party. Draining the swamp only to bring in the cesspool of big business enriching themselves at the expense of the American people.

There are several more but they are behind paywalls.

This is what Trump Derangement Syndrome actually looks like.

Sure he will :joy:

There’s little doubt Trump will remain “loud” whether or not he remains presdient.

One of the other things detestable things about him.

No idea what you are referencing.

Reread your post. That doesnt describe the lil’kid sniffer we know on these boards.

Polls show 90 percent of Republicans support Trump. Seems we have the 10% here in this forum.

Looks like the NYTs and Business Insider are trying to create a false impression. Can you believe it?

She didn’t say Trump is a conservative.

Please don’t make up stuff.

Damn, you seem desperate to demonstrate your libberty.

if you’re going to ascribe things to me, at least get it right. I did not say “betrayal” of anything was brilliant. I said there was no betrayal and Trumps move pulling our 123 speed bump troops out of northern Syria has turned out to be brilliant. Here’s what it accomplished:

  1. Our Kurdish friends were disabused of the notion that we would protect them from our ally, Turkey while their Kurdish brethren in the terrorist (PKK?) attacked Turks. And forced to the realization that negotiated settlement of their grievances with our Ally, Turkey, was their only option. It also helps to differentiate them for Turkey from the terrorist (PKK?), which is neither a friend to us nor an ally against ISIS.
  2. The Turks, who were flirting with Moscow are now more firmly in NATO as they fight the Russian/Syrian proxy militias we would be fighting if not for them coming in. The Turks support the same Syrian rebel factions we did, which puts them in opposition to Assad and Putin in northern Syria and creates friction between Turkey and Russia more or less ending the flirtation.
  3. The Turkish allied militias quickly discovered that attempting to attack the Kurds was not in their interest (if living is in their interest) and are now fighting Syrian government factions more than they are any Kurds. We are still supporting our Kurdish friends. They seem to know that. Why don’t you?

This, as opposed to the other option of losing Turkey as a NATO ally and pushing them deeper into their Russian flirtation in retrospect is brilliant. If not for Trumps move what would we be doing now… shooting down Turkish aircraft? Fighting Turkey’s proxy militias?

don’t care a bit about the salacious BS

So what? btw… you give yourself away here. you really should do a better job with your “I’m a republican and I voted for Trump” disguise. It’s not fooling anyone.

This is what you come up with to criticize Obama?
