Oh, so you mentioning male rape DOESN’T mean you think that female rape DOESN’T matter.

Interesting.

I’m curious…how did you get that from his posts?

What did you get from his posts?

You think he means something else?

Yes. It ignores the bigger issue.

That all rape matters. Maybe English is hard for “some”.

That was his clarification for his earlier post.

And my post described what he said perfectly. So yeah, maybe that English was too hard for you.

He’s being sarcastic. I get it. Ignore it.

There are a lot of accusations being thrown around in this thread that arent warranted.

This! spent 4 years in the USN and we never had anyone accused of rape. Most military guys I know would either beat the snot out of anyone they came across trying to rape a woman or at least take and ass kicking to keep her from being raped.

I have known Martha for 25 years and considered a friend. I didn’t think she was a very good pilot but was a very good leader. From her first days in the squadron she had top cover from the likes of General MacPeak numerous female congress women and Hillary Clinton. She always had high level sponsors, and used the system to her advantage, which I don’t hold against her. But saying she didn’t trust the system, when she used the system to her advantage numerous times, i have my doubts. Seems to me she is using the system again. I hope I am wrong. She is somebody I have always respected. But unfortunately I do not believe it, do to her history and timeline. It is a problem that needs addressing but do not believe this is the way.

This, is a great thread.

What 4 years and I’ll pull up the Navy rape cases tomorrow.

Criminal rapists deserve a trial and then a long prison sentence if convicted,

Allan

I agree.

Not Allan

hard to believe we agree on anything. :non-potable_water:

cheers.

Allan

Is it? Strange.

well when it comes to criminal punishment.

Spies and Terrorists are the first tier (federal level)

Murderers and rapists are the first tier. (state level)

Long and I mean loooooooong prison sentences for all those convicted.

Allan

Ok. There’s two.

If you add child crimes.

Chiming in late.

He didn’t mean that.

He said it’s a worse problem because no one talks about it AND there’s no way to limit access (i.e. whether you agree or not that it would be the thing to do to address the problem, you CAN in many cases separate women from the men who might rape them…you really CAN’T do that with men).

On top of the fact that many in the military don’t trust the system that should be stopping it.

And sometimes, one DOES “have to have been there” to understand something.

Not having served, I have to trust those who have when they tell me how things are in the military.

Don’t always agree with what Sneaky says on these boards, but I don’t see him either justifying rape nor thinking women in the military bring it on themselves.

I think a lot of people here allowed their opinions of Sneaky to color their perceptions of what he actually posted.

Thank you for your kind words. The upper echelons are very frustrated by their inability to control human nature.
