Unfortunately, they no longer need the votes of people like you and me. They have their base, and I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

Not all GOPers support Donald Trump in everything he does or says. I’m glad you can call him out for his statements yesterday.
It’s really easy to get accused of hating Israel by some cons here and in the cec. You could get accused of it by criticizing a bagel.

Pelosi got called out on this website over the weekend for calling for an end to the Israeli occupation. Amazing when you consider that prior to the Trump Administration US policy was a two-state solution which was predicated on an end to the Israeli occupation. That is hardly a radical position.
Trump is not pro-Israel, he is pro the Netanyahu government. Netanyahu has close personal ties to the Kushner family.
Go off trumps approval ratings and context of past polls. I went high but its over 60 easy. His polls typically have over 60%

Every once and a while I question whether or not leaving the Republican party and registering as an Independent was the right call and then something like this happens and it just confirms that it was the right thing to do.

Did anyone ever figure out whether the chicken or the egg came first? Israel says they have to be agressive because the Palestinians attacked them first and the Palestinians say it’s the Israeli settlements and such that make their attacks justified.
A hopeless situation imo.
