It’s what you do… so I called this one out, and laughed (those emojiis you somehow overlooked).
You responded to me (above) insinuating, I’m the one getting all blustery… again, somehow you overlooked the laughing emojiis…
So, in my second response, I attempted to clarify my position (and current mood)… and underlined the whole damn thing with some more laughing emojiis.
Now you’re calling the posts insults. I don’t honestly care, but you know what would be icing on the cake? Flag these posts as abuse, when you’re the one who originally rushed off the rails to taunt another poster for a very typical response.

Fire trucks that would show up at my house are privately owned by individual land owners. Our fire fighters are all volunteers. No socialism for us.
Never have had a neighbor not get paid for fire damage. They might have disagreed with what the insurance offered to pay but they got paid.
Only reason I can think that someone wouldn’t get paid is if they set the fire.
And the rest of the United States is just like you and your town? BTW: who paid for the fire engines and the fire station?

Same people who own the fire trucks. The fire station is each ranchers barn or shop. The rancher paid for his own fire truck.
See we learned long ago not to depend on the government to save us.
So every other city/town/village in the U.S. is set up like yours? You’re asserting that fire services are private?
I said not all fire stations are socialist.
Some of us protect ourselves without the need of the government.

So…you are just sharing a personal anecdote with us. Cool. What % of fire departments in the United States do you think are privately owned and run?
I’m going to continue to point out how Trump supporters side with Trump on everything. Where nothing Trump says or does causes a concern, issue, or problem.

Believe it or not, there are more volunteer fire departments then there are paid departments. I was a volunteer firefighter in Corpus Christi, TX and a volunteer firefighter/EMT in Virginia Beach. Supplies, equipment and vehicles were purchased through donations and community fund drives.
The fire side in Va Beach was paid, supplemented by volunteers. The rescue side of the house was 100% volunteer, the largest volunteer rescue squad in the country. And we were trained up to the exact same DOT standards as the paid guys were. Hell, It cost money to be a volunteer in Va Beach. Paid guys were issued uniforms by the City, Volunteers paid for their own.

Of the fire departments registered: 4, 5
- Nine percent are career.
- Five percent are mostly career.
- Sixteen percent are mostly volunteer.
- Seventy percent are volunteer.
