It’s a great example of why a guy like Petersen doesn’t want personal religion to be a campaign issue.

I find Petersen to be a fascinating candidate. The guy is strong in his principles and willing to be outspoken and to rock the Establishment’s boat. (Note: He even rocked the Libertarian boat in 2016 when he was willing to stand on his principles.) It doesn’t hurt his case with me that he is non-religious. He stands on a wealth of conservative principles that are built on libertarian roots – and that’s a rare political creature for sure! I’d take him over most other more traditional (and assertedly religious) politicians out there.

I agree with this. And I am seriously leaning towards voting for him in the Primary. Had he been the selection by the Libertarian Party in 2016 he would have received my vote there as well. I could not bring myself to vote for Johnson.

When I was a child, children played outdoors and were protected by their neighbors. Today, “we” don’t even know our neighbors. When I was a child, you could go door to door on Halloween and get a sack full of candy in an hour. Today, children go to some central location, if at all because there’s so much evil out there. You can attempt to paint any picture that you want but I know that “we” are less kind to each other than in years past.

we know all of our neighbors and my kids trick or treat all over our neighborhood. I don’t believe what yup claimed represents the whole of the country.
