Reports of voter suppression in Virginia

“There have been several reports from voters who say they were told by poll workers that they are required to wear a mask in order to vote,” the Virginia GOP tweeted . “To be clear, if someone is not wearing a face covering they may NOT be turned away or refused their right to vote.”

Is voter suppress okay so long as it targets voters without face masks?

Voter suppression is goo(D) again, eh?

Looks like it’s their choice to be suppressed.

Follow polling place rules = No suppression

Aaaannd we’re off and running…lol.

This doesn’t make any sense.

If this did happen, was probably because a poll worker didn’t understand the rules around mask wearing and voting.

oh relax i’m sure they have a plan to repeat scan unfolded ballots as needed

tape up those pizza boxes

Unless the state requires a voter ID; that is the party line from Democrats. How are you going to vote for friends and family if you have to show an ID?

In Virginia there is no requirement to wear a mask for voting.

Of course. It’s hearsay.

they will have to remove the republican poll count observers at midnight so they can bring in the unverified mail in ballots … recounts till new year … can you smell the utopia?

Is there a state requirement to wear masks indoors?
Do the city/towns where this allegedly happened have requirement to wear masks indoors?

To try to fend off any attempts to derail, recommended to wear does NOT equal requirement to wear.

Is this isolated to a few precincts or is it happening state-wide?

where do you think they will find the first vehicle filled with uncounted early ballots?

why do you hate democracy?

oh my looks like murphy is in trouble too

here we go…

You know…back when I coached little league baseball. When the kids started making excuses for losing the game before the game was over we benched them. For some reason, this thread reminded of that.

Dems are going to lose Virginia anyway. They should have boxes of masks on hand. Don’t turn away people who want to vote!

It’s 7:00 PM and the polls in VA are (supposedly to be) closed.
Let the trucks full of neatly folded and freshly printed
ballots roll!

It appears that this story only ran in the one publication. And that all of the reports were hearsay from GOP leaders.

trucks will be pulling up soon till about 3am. might be a long night. opponent was pretty far ahead in polls
