A more reasonable alternative to vaccinations-forever would be make use of quick, inexpensive testing and safe, inexpensive treatments for the disease until it naturally evolves to be just another cold virus.

You mean…like was suggested early on in the crisis and got precisely 0% backing from the previous administration which had only two political goals- downplay the number of people getting it (“The problem with testing is the more you test, the more cases there are”) and blaming liberal state and city governments?

And…it doesn’t have to be either/or.

We can have robust, quick testing…and we can have vaccines.

This constant push to scare people about vaccines is monumentally puzzling to me. We have been vaccinating people since the 1700s. Only recently has it become some controversial thing.

Umm, it’s a novel vaccine, one not fully approved, no, we haven’t been doing that since the 1700’s.

So those vaccines were fully approved?
