The illegal immigrant suspect in Nevada linked with at least four murders in a one-week span allegedly attempted to pawn “stolen jewelry” from his victims following the attacks.
“An illegal immigrant linked to four murders in Nevada allegedly pawned jewelry that belonged to at least two of the victims,” writes Fox News.
“Wilbur Martinez-Guzman, 19, was held on immigration charges Saturday after investigators linked him to the four killings in Carson City. He was expected to be formally charged in the murders on Thursday,” adds the article.
Martinez-Guzman is reportedly an El Salvador national who officials believe has been living in or near Nevada for at least one year. Authorities also confirmed the series of murders occurred over a one-week time period.
