I was looking at the results as a barometer to see if Biden performance was poor enough to swing the party adverse voters back to Trump. Thought that energy and economy and foreign policy would add some shine to Trump.
My take away is not enough for him to run again in 2024.
Very disappointed…perhaps the Desanctimonious dig was a portent of change.
50 percent of voters said inflation is a problem but it is also a global problem. How is that for voter quality?
Only 11 percent thought crime was a problem
Only 10 percent thought immigration was a problem
May be it’s not about what you call research (which is laughable on its face given the propensity to run with nonsense) but that your message of fear and doom and gloom isn’t really the right message… may be. Or may be people agree about the visionless gop…
It took real talent for the GOP to take what should have been a crushing defeat of Democrats in a midterm like ‘94 or ‘10 and turn it into at best a tie and at worst the Dems barely holding onto both houses. Excellent work all around.
My reaction when you guys all decided this man was, ahem, smart and qualified enough to be president was, “the real estate guy who everyone made fun of for being broke in the 90s!” Thought he was a clown then. Reality TV didn’t improve my opinion. Not sure why politics would.
If I was retroactively forced to justify heavily publicly supporting a man who is almost certainly functionally illiterate for president of these United States, I’d be looking to blame anyone except me too.
