Notice how their justification in doing so are similiar to what happen in early part of 20th century.
There is a legal process for removing them, this is not the process that is being followed. This is not a majority of anyone from these cities petitioning to have them removed it’s a violent mob seeking to use violence and the threat of violence to get their way.

You have a right to be offended, you do not have a right to be protected from being offended.
Freedom and Liberty mean you will be offended because people get to do things you find offensive.

They are talking about it even the NYT’s released and article about it.
One can ignore the pattern if they like but we all have seen it, first there is articles about something being problematic then down the road it’s gone. We were assured the confederacy statues was all the people wanted gone and the thought of the left removing the founding father statues was just some right wing conspiracy theory, just last week both Thomas Jefferson and George Washington statues were brought down by the mob.
I see the pattern and one can choose to ignore it, I take them at their word.
